Sara Robledo is a professional singer and dancer who obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, NY, as well as several certifications in Dance Education from the Harkness Dance Center, NY.
She is a certified Alexander Technique Teacher from the Escuela de Técnica Alexander México (ETAM), which is affiliated with the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique (STAT) and the Alexander Technique Affiliated Societies (ATAS).
Sara began practicing Yoga over 20 years ago with master Dharma Mittra in New York. She is a certified Yoga teacher (Escuela de Entrenadores México, 300 hrs.) and Pilates instructor (Kane School of Core Integration, NY).
She was introduced to the Alexander Technique in New York by teacher Jean McClelland, with whom she took several workshops focused on breathing and voice. Her journey as a singer began with Professor Robert Een, with whom she performed in the show "Bob Een and The Musical Giants of Manhattan." She is the first graduate of the Alexander Technique school in Mexico under the guidance of Maestra Claudia Montero. She has completed the Advanced Program for teaching Alexander Technique online with Professor Penelope Easten, studied and collaborated with Cecile Raynor, author of "The Wise Way to Yoga," and taken continuing education courses in Alexander Technique: "Principles of Movement Awareness" and "The Postural Neuro-muscular Reflex System" with Professor Ted Dimon.
Sara works with entrepreneurs and politicians in Mexico to help them manage their professional and personal challenges and prepare for public presentations. She has worked for companies such as Sportsworld, Fox Sports, Círculo y Medio, Lead Now Global, and has taught Wellness courses at ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México) for over 5 years.
She is a coach for high-performance athletes, helping them improve their performance, resilience, and recovery.
Sara regularly organizes activities and retreats for the empowerment and leadership development of women and youth in Mexico. She teaches yoga classes and retreats.
She taught in the Yoga Teacher Training program at Tiempo Yoga (CDMX) with the class "Yoga of Sound."
She regularly performs with her band Roble de Agua and leads Kirtan at yoga events with the project Kalakula.
She is passionate about bringing about a change in society and actively promotes environmental awareness activities and world peace initiatives.
